To clean your Sterilight UV water disinfection system, start by turning off the water supply and unplugging the unit. Carefully remove the UV lamp, ensuring you handle it by its ends to avoid contamination. Using a soft cloth or sponge dampened with a mixture of mild soap and water, gently clean the quartz sleeve to remove any mineral deposits or film. Rinse the sleeve thoroughly with clean water. Once cleaned, reinsert the UV lamp, ensuring it's securely in place. Reconnect the unit, turn on the water supply, and plug the system back in.
