The Outback Ready Emergency Water Filter (OB-25RDY) is a portable, gravity-powered, four-stage water filtration system designed for emergency preparedness and situations where electricity or pressurized water may not be available. No plumbing, tools, or electricity are required.
Rugged, portable, and easy to store, the Outback Ready is designed for emergency preparedness, disaster response, remote locations, base camps, and temporary water disruptions. It can treat visually clear freshwater from streams, rivers, lakes, ponds, springs, collected rainwater, and untreated stored freshwater.

Third-Party Tested Performance
The Outback Ready uses four stages of filtration — the OB-NET Pre-Filter Net, OB-SLEEVE Pre-Filter Sleeve, OB-PF7 Nano Pre-Filter, and OB-RF10 Multi-Media Filtration Cartridge — and has been third-party tested for >99.9999% bacteria reduction, >99.99% cyst reduction, and >99.99% virus reduction. "I used this water filter for a springtime Turkey hunt from Canoe on a mountain lake in Arkansas. I brought 2 gallons of freshwater with me and the only other water I had was from the lake which was covered with pollen. This filter cleaned and purified all my drinking water for the 2 weeks that I was on the lake. I am very satisfied with this product and can highly recommend It."

"It is May 8th 2021 just returned from a two-week stay on a mountain lake in Arkansas. Springtime on the lake presents a lot of pollen issues. The water source is very clear but the pollen is very heavy. The Outback Plus had no problem with the pollen. I filtered at least 25 gallons of good drinking water. Yes the sock filter over the particulate filter in the top bucket needs cleaning no problem the Outback Plus served me very well. Customer service was great also. The bottom bucket lid did not fit when I received my unit. But upon notification one was shipped out with Expediance. I guess my only question would be what covers the holes where the spicket and the two buckets meet for long-term storage?"

"At first seems a bit expensive for two plastic Lowes buckets tied together ... Neighbor gave me a lot of grief in that regard.....But if I ever need it in an emergency "and that is all it would be used for" and it works, all is forgiven."
