The LUMINOR RQ-820 is the replacement UV quartz sleeve for the Luminor BLACKCOMB 4.1 LB4-101, Luminor Blackcomb 5.1 LB5-101, Luminor Blackcomb 6.1 LB6-101 whole-house Ultraviolet water sterilizer Systems. The quartz sleeve keeps the UV lamp from shorting out and maintains the lamp's ideal operating temperature. Mineral build-up hinders the lamp's effectiveness, so it is important to clean the UV sleeve annually.
